Mike Ross
Originally from Metro-Detroit, Mike joined the Marine Corps prior to September 11, 2001. During his 21- year career, he served all over the world including embassy duty, multiple Pentagon tours, and a deployment to Afghanistan. Mike continues to serve in the Foreign Service, with notable tours in Iraq and Hong Kong as a federal law enforcement officer.
Currently, Mike is serving a headquarters tour in Arlington, Virginia. His years of experience in the military and law enforcement have instilled in Mike a deep sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments. These qualities, coupled with a passion for helping others, drive his dedication to providing exceptional service to his clients. In 2019, Mike received a federal law enforcement national award for uncommon valor and bravery for his actions during a coordinated attack on our U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq. Mike’s education includes a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from American Military University and a Master’s degree in Leadership with a focus on Project Management from Boston University.
Despite Mike’s accomplishments, he is vocal that his greatest role in life has been as a husband and father. Originally a real estate investor, Mike received his real estate license to help friends and colleagues find quality properties to invest in or enjoy. He understands the challenges of moving frequently and the need for an agent to demystify the home-buying process, often on short notice.
As a real estate agent, Mike approaches each transaction with the same precision and determination that characterized his previous roles. Whether finding the perfect home for a family, connecting clients to agents who fit their needs, or leveraging a sharp eye for detail in property selection, Mike is committed to ensuring that his client's needs are met with utmost professionalism and care.
