The Buyer Agent we are looking for is highly sociable, draws energy from working with people,
and is optimistic and outgoing. They have a strong sense of urgency, but not at the expense of
quality. In addition, they demonstrates on a daily basis the knowledge, attitudes, skills, and
habits of a high-achieving buyer agent who is committed to putting clients first, to do the right
thing, and to seek win-win agreements.
Dutko|Ragen Buyer’s Agents demonstrate a commitment to learning and strive for growth by
regularly attending courses, teaching courses when appropriate, and regularly practicing scripts
and dialogues with the team.
Buyer Agent Job Duties & Responsibilities
o Prospect for clients, schedule appointments, obtain agreements, and conduct high-level
fiduciary needs analyses
o Consult with clients to ensure fiduciary service of the real estate transaction from initial
contact through contract to close
o Effectively negotiate, or oversee negotiations, for all buyers
o Develop expert knowledge regarding mortgage financing, neighborhoods, schools, and all
o Schedule and attend on-site property inspections with clients and vendors
o Provide buyer clients access to homes under contract as needed for measuring, inspecting,
o Promptly return all buyer client telephone calls, texts and/or emails.
o Gather and answer buyer questions about potential homes and local community
o Educate buyer clients about home buying process
o Facilitating the buyer process from start to finish with assistance from team
o Hosting weekend open houses to showcase our listings while having an opportunity to meet
o Keep lead agent informed on all client communications and developments (copied on all
emails & update notes in CRM)
● Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop a strong rapport with clients
● Professional demeanor and dress, communicates with clients in a helpful, positive, and
● Customer service or sales experience a plus.
