It’s bordered to the north by route 66, to the east by the capital beltway, to the south by Arlington Boulevard, and to the west by Nutley St. Metro travel for work or leisure is also an option in Merrifield as the Dunn Loring Metro station is located in the northeast corner of the city and is on Metro’s orange line.
Merrifield’s very popular new pedestrian mall, the Mosaic District, has become the heartbeat of the city with its boutique-style shopping experience, sit down and casual dining options, and its movie theatre the Angelika Film Center.
